Outdoor Quad Endcap

General

This is an end cap for quads that I have created to serve as a durable alternative to buying them. I also needed something to work well for my quad stacks and to link all the kites together easily. I have used these in my stack in high winds where I was getting dragged around pretty good and I didn't have any endcaps break.

Printing

I print these standing up straight on the build plate using ABS. For print setting I like to run 0.12mm layer height with 3 wall loops, 15% infill, and 2 raft layers.

I have been using ABS for all the endcaps I have on my kites and I haven't had one break yet or wear out to much from dragging. I print with supports enabled and they normally come of pretty easy if you use some pliers. I have used PLA+ before when I didn't have a printer that could use ABS and they worked well enough. If you use slightly weaker materials I would just bump the infill up a little.

STL

Here is a link to the STL for the part.(link does not work...yet)
